Blythe by Careline Launch

Aliens, stars, lightning bolts, and everything outer space, that’s what Andrea Brillantes’s Blythe Cosmetics by Careline launch was like! Held at Century Mall’s penthouse event space on August 14, 2019, the place’s aesthetic was a galactic purple aesthetic dream.

As a makeup lover, Blythe knows exactly the type of products she wants. Hence, throughout the development process, Blythe and her sister Kayla, were on top of the items they wanted to create. There are 25 SKUs under the Hypercosmic Collection, and all of them have Blythe’s special touch!

We’ve been asked why the concept and design for the collaboration involve doodles and the cosmos. Mainly, the idea came about because the first one Blythe wanted to make was the Starlight Eyes, a shimmer liquid eyeshadow that comes in three shades, Pegasus, Cassiopeia, and Lynx.

Blythe also blinding highlighters, which resulted to the Blythe Stardust Palette, an ultra-fine finish palette that includes three shades in one; an iridescent share with blue and pink flecks, and two illuminating metallic highlighters in champagne and pearlescent pink.

The direction seemed to lean towards the bright, bold, and ethereal. Thus, it made sense to just embrace the concept and realize it!

Other products in the collection are the Majestic Matte Lipstick and Stellar Satin Lipstick which have 4 shades under each line. Three shades for her Eyebrow Trio (Graphite is my go-to!), two colours for her Eyeliner Duo Stamp, six highly pigmented multi-use Cloud Tint, and two Face Palettes.

If you are a fan of Kadenang Ginto like I am, Blythe actually often wears the Stellar Satin Lip in Calypso and the Cloud Tint in Mist on set. However, for the Blythe by Careline Kick Off, she’s sporting the Majestic Matte in Vixen, with a star stamp on her upper left cheek bone from the Blythe Eyeliner Pen Duo Stamp in Falling Star.

The whole organisation worked triple time to make sure all products made it in stores at the time of launch. Blythe’s fans and makeup lovers nationwide got to enjoy her products on August 14 at over 400 outlets across the country!

We are currently expanding distribution to more doors to make Blythe available to you. Go to Careline Cosmetics’s website for the full list of stores where Blythe by Careline is available!

All Blythe items are cruelty free, and it’s certified by this cute symbol of her favourite shitzu, Oreo in the packaging!
